i think i know what im going to do with myself

i went adventuring in la with ms gavin and ms chiang. first stop was pasadena city college. the campus was very niiice. kinda small, but still nice. we went into the screen printing class and my brain/imagination orgasmed and exploded. theres so much awesome printing going on there. and ms gavin introduced me as the one that does all the foil and silkscreening with her. which was pretty cool. the halls of the silk screening building were all tagged up with stencils made by students. it was amazing. i will eventually post pics.

after pcc, we went off to see peter shires sculpture in elysian park, overlooking dodger stadium. it was really interesting and graffiti'd all over. some hoodlums left their 40s there. there were some obscene tags, like 'doser is a bitch ass pussy'. tbh, i was more interested in the graffitti than the actual sculpture. then we went off to peter shires studio in echo park. peter shire was really really cool. he does a lot of ceramic pieces and metal stuff. in his studio there were a bunch of metal angels hanging from the ceiling. and there was a bunch of mugs sitting around. he was showing us a new installation he was doing somewhere. they were little metal houses that were going to be mounted on like 10 ft poles. somehow he got on the subject of legalizing marijuana. ms gavin looked uncomfortable. i noticed some ceramic bongs and when i asked about them he thought i was like the coolest lol. he told this great joke that i will rewrite once i remember it.

soo last stop was this little art gallery and i cant quite remember the guys name but he did some cool prints of jimi hendrix and sitting bull and john lennon. and some weirrrd mickey mouse drawings. it was all very awesome. i wish i could someday print as well as he did.
i think i have it all figured out. i know where i want to go. i have this new fascination for street art. i just want to get some mailing labels and draw all over them and sticker slap all over rowland.

EDITZ: screw sadies, i had way more fun at kevins than i would at some stupid dance. watched big fish, and cried. i love that movie. watched some transformers and got all sucked in. friday was da bomb
